Questions Before You Play?
A few helpful answers before your dog starts pushing, chasing, and circling outdoors.
Which size should I choose for my dog?
18 in works for smaller dogs, 22 in is a good middle option for medium active dogs, and 25 in is best for larger or high-energy dogs. Choose a ball that feels too large to carry, but easy enough to push.
Is this a chew toy?
No. The XIXIPUP Herding Ball is made for supervised push-and-chase play, not chewing. Remove the ball if your dog starts biting, chewing, or clawing at one spot aggressively.
Can my dog use it indoors?
We recommend outdoor use in a clear, open space such as a yard, park, or grass area. Indoor use is only suitable if you have enough open space and can supervise closely.
What is included in the package?
Your herding ball set includes the Oxford fabric outer cover, inflatable inner ball, hand pump, air plug and tool, and a repair patch. Check all parts before first setup and keep small accessories away from pets when not in use.
How firm should I inflate the ball?
Inflate it until the inner ball fits snugly inside the cover and feels firm, but do not overinflate. A properly filled ball should roll well while keeping the cover smooth and secure.
What kinds of dogs is it best for?
It is best for active dogs who enjoy chasing, pushing, circling, and outdoor movement. It can be a good fit for high-energy breeds when used with supervision and the right size.
Can it help my dog burn energy?
It can help encourage movement, focus, and active outdoor play. Use it as part of a supervised routine, and give your dog breaks when they look tired or overexcited.
How do I clean it?
Wipe the outer cover with a damp cloth after outdoor play and let it air dry fully before storage. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, or store it wet.
